Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has an immediate opening for a Preventive Maintenance Change Coordinator located at Cooper Nuclear Station in Brownville, Nebraska.  Position closes November 19, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. 

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the preventive maintenance (PM) SAP notifications, maintenance of SAP business unit master data and its integration with SAP and various administrative functions within the department.

This position makes changes to SAP PM master data in the following areas:
- Maintenance plans (frequency, mode, and schedule coordination (date orders are called));
- Maintenance items (functional location, main work center, plant impact statements, extra scheduling notes, environmentally qualified (EQ), foreign material exclusion (FME), and Tech Spec or other reference information);
- Maintenance task list (OPS and shop work instructions).

 This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of work centers, functional locations, equipment record master data and bill of material maintenance with SAP.

Provide support for the development and revision of PS&O procedures.

Serve as administrative liaison providing a wide variety of administrative support, general business unit processes and routine and special projects/processes of an administrative or analytical nature. Individuals must live with 45 minutes of the Station to support ERO.

 

Education, Training and Experience

Associate's degree and 2 years'  related experience

OR

High school diploma/GED and 4 years' related experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Review MPCR's to determine compatibility with the associated task list and other maintenance plans that use the same task list; and resolve any discrepancies with the originator, engineer, operations or maintenance shop. Resolve conflicts and provide resolution between groups when problems arise concerning the PM program. Maintain and develop techniques used to maintain master data records in SAP, including work centers, functional locations, equipment record master data and bill of materials.

This position requires special knowledge of the SAP MPCR/Master Data Records process and the requirements that go with it to maintain PM's/master data records and the changes required when configuration changes such as MOD's and part evaluations are completed.

Take ownership of a specific type of master data, which includes identifying when changes are needed, validating accuracy of requested changes, making the changes in SAP and working with others when other types of master data are impacted.

Coordinate all the PM deferral implementation for the work orders and maintenance plans.

Responsible for performing searches for regularly checking the SAP system for new MPCR notifications, CRs against PM work, etc. Put the inventory codes on new MPCR notifications; add the "intent review" task assignment for PM ENG and release it. On non-intent change, complete the intent review task; add the Coordinate Implement, revise task list and revise maintenance plan tasks.

Responsible for ensuring material needs in support of PM work tasks are met as required to support the PM program.  Responsible for observing schedule requirements and providing feedback to work week directors when PM issues that will impact schedule implementation are identified.

Incumbent must be knowledgeable and responsible for the assigned SAP master data type. Assist plant personnel with questions about the assigned master data.

Salary Information - Nebraska Public Power District offers a competitive starting salary with opportunities for growth. In addition to the base salary range listed below, NPPD employees may also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program (AIP) that may supplement total compensation at a level above and beyond the stated salary range.  Successful applicants will be provided more information regarding the incentive program at the time of an interview.

Pay Grade - 10 Monthly

Typical Pay Grade Starting Salary Range: $4,983.00  - $6,229.00

 

Travel Required: Up to 25% (With no or minimal overnight stays, less than 3 per month, typically within state of Nebraska)  Travel required may fluctuate by business need. This is an estimate and will be discussed further with candidates that receive an interview.
