Position Summary
This position is accountable for the administration, monitoring, and oversight of purchase orders, contracts, agreements, and licenses for Enterprise Technology (ET). This includes participating in dispute/claims resolution, contract development, license and contract administration, supplier or contractor performance monitoring, and closeout of purchase orders, contracts, and agreements. In addition, the Contract Administration Specialist promotes the use of technology standards and adherence to the Enterprise Technology processes. Provides coordination between Enterprise Technology and the Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams.
Education, Training and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology/Systems, Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field plus two years' experience as described below
OR
Associate degree in Business, Information Technology/Systems, Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with five years' experience as described below
OR
High School diploma/GED with ten years' experience described below.
Experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships with diverse parties both internal and external to the District.
- Contract administration experience, including a familiarity with proper legal and industry terminology, is preferred, with an ability to excel in written communication.
- Experience in an enterprise level IT position is preferred.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential to success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Administer, monitor and report supplier, contractor, or consultant compliance with specifications and schedule and participate in disputes/claims resolution. Responsible for coordinated evaluation and documentation of vendor services and material delivery. Responsible for the initiation and administration of license agreements.
In coordination with Supply Chain Management, participate in the development and negotiations of contract documents.
Coordinate the activities of multiple suppliers and contractors on the same worksite at the same time. Act as the single point of contact for all onsite third-party services. Develop, monitor, and report the purchase order and contracts benchmarking metrics. Closeout purchase orders, contracts, agreements, and licenses.
Responsible for ordering computer-related services, equipment, and material. Responsible for the inventory process for servers, PC's, and software.
Serves as the liaison with vendors. Responsible for technical analysis of vendor service offerings and resolution of billing discrepancies on voice, data, network services, hardware, and software.
Track and report on ET performance measures.
Accountable for other duties as assigned.

Salary Information - Nebraska Public Power District offers a competitive starting salary with opportunities for growth. In addition to the base salary range listed below, NPPD employees may also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program (AIP) that may supplement total compensation at a level above and beyond the stated salary range. Successful applicants will be provided more information regarding the incentive program at the time of an interview.
Pay Grade - 12 Monthly
Typical Pay Grade Starting Salary Range: $6,477.00 - $8,096.00
Travel Required: Up to 25% (With no or minimal overnight stays, less than 3 per month, typically within state of Nebraska) Travel required may fluctuate by business need. This is an estimate and will be discussed further with candidates that receive an interview.
